How to organize your backpack so you are always prepared?  A well-organized backpack leads to a successful year at Beyer High School. In just a few steps, you will start seeing your grades getting better, your teachers and parents being happier, and you having more free time.  After all, you will enjoy school better.

Step 1: Organize by subject.

You can either use binders, folders, or a mixture of both

Step 2: Have sections per subject.

A section for homework, class activities or notes, and other sections that vary per subject

Step 3: Organize your backpack.

All of your binders or folders should be in the order of your classes.

Step 4: Make sure you have a plan.

Don’t forget your books!  You need to know when you are going to your locker throughout the day. A plan will ensure you that you won’t be late to class and you will be prepared for each class period.

Step 4: Being Prepared.

You always should have everything you need for the school day ready. After you have your subjects organized, you are going to need your supplies. Here is a list of some essential supplies that you will need:

-Sharpened pencils or lead pencils (with extra lead)

-Erasers

-Pens

-Highlighters

-Colored pencils, crayons, glue, etc.

-Earbuds for class

You can always get more supplies that might help you get through the day.

Step 5: Your Computer

Always make sure your computer is fully charged and ready to go.

You can make a reminder on your phone so you don’t forget.

If you follow these simple steps, you will see that school is not that bad. As long as you are prepared, you will start to enjoy coming to Beyer every morning. Good luck!
